Exhibition hall

1.0 Location of the hall

The Exhibition hall is part of the business center Amber Plaza and located at the intersection of Seleznevskaya and Krasnoproletarskaya streets within 5 minutes of walk to Novoslobodskaya metro station.

1.1 Disposition of the hall in the building

The Exhibition hall is located at the second floor of the building
and has a separated front access door from the side of Krasnoproletarskaya street.

1.2 Specifications of the hall

The total floor area of the hall is 1059 sq. m.
The ceiling height of the main part of the hall is 5.7m. The area of this part of the hall is 792sq. m.
The ceiling height of the low part of the hall is 2.8m. The area of this part of the hall 248.2sq. m.

Maximum capacity of the hall:
Number of seats in the format of conference is 1150 people, banquet – up to 650 people, drink reception – up to 1500 people.

1.3 Interior of the hall

The interior design of the hall is based on the concept of geometrical arrangement, simplicity and functionality.
Its white walls combined with the gray undertone of the polished granite floor provide a neutral background for any event. The large floor area allows for easy organization of the space and for diversity in the arrangement of the chairs, stage, podiums, exhibition displays and presentation equipment, so as to satisfy the goals and objectives of any event.
Five large windows in the hall provide a sufficient quantity of natural light during daytime events. In addition, seven groups of high-powered halogen lights with independent remote switching illuminate the hall.

1.4 Parking

The exhibition hall has a guarded parking lot for 5 cars, it is also possible to organize parking for up to 120 automobiles.

1.5 Hall properties

• Actual dimensions - 36 x 29,3 x 5,7 m.
• Window width - 4,44 m.
• Window spacing - 2,7 m.
• Space between the columns in the main part of the hall – 13,5 m.
• Distance between the wall and the line of columns in the main part of the hall – 15 m.
• Dimension of the columns in the main part of the hall – 0,9 x 0,9 m.
• Distance between the wall and the line of columns in the second part of the hall – 5,8 m.
• Dimension of the columns in the second part of the hall – 0,6 x 0,8 m.

Floor material - gray granite.
Maximal load per surface unit – 300 kg / sq.m.
Entrance to the hall is available through 3 double-wing doors, each of them 1,51 x 2,14 m.
One more double-wing door (1,66 x 2,14 m) in the opposite wall connects the hall with a freight elevator.
Dimension of the freight elevator’s cabin is 1,85 x 1,3 m.
Dimension of the freight elevator’s door is 1,25 x 2,1 m.
The freight elevator bearing capacity is 1250 kg.

The hall in plan is rectangle with sides 36 x 29,3 m.
There are 5 windows in the wall along the axis “И”. The main part of the hall has flat-slab ceiling. The height from the floor to the suspended ceiling is 5,7 m in main part and 2,8 m in the second part of the hall. Built-in folded partitions give opportunity to increase the hall area up to 1334 sq.m.

Five additional rooms adjoin the conference hall. Area of the rooms as follows:

• Room E1 - 47 sq. m.
• Room E2 - 62 sq. m.
• Room W1 - 35 sq. m.
• Room W2 - 29 sq. m.
• Room W3 - 30 sq. m.

The walls of the hall are made of bricks and covered with bonding and facing plaster, some part of the walls are made of gypsum boards with mineral wool filling of inside space of the framework.

Windows. The windows are equipped with sliding curtains made of tight material with surface density equal to 600 g/sq.m.

Ceiling. The ceiling of the hall is furnished with white sound-proofing boards ULTIMA produced by the firm ARMSTRONG.

1.6. Hall acoustic performance.

Form the point of acoustic view the hall is a disproportionate (flat) space with reverberation time equal to 0,82+0.02 sec.

1.7. System of ventilation and air conditioning

The system works as a part of general equipment of the building engineering systems and is controlled from the integrated dispatcher point. Maximum air supply in the conference hall is 96950 cubic m/hour.

1.8. Power Supply

For the purposes of effective conducting of activities in the hall it is provided connecting to the tree-phase network of alternating current through large-scale plug-and-sockets for 32 A, 63 A and two by 125 A for each phase.
Power supply of the building is provided through two independent inputs of electrical substations. In case of failure of electrical supplying from one of them, the system of automatic activation of reserve switches to the functioning substation. Guaranteed time of switching to the working substation is approximately 3 seconds.

1.9. Lighting

Operating of lighting in the main part of the hall is executed by the dispatcher of BMS through remote control, but optionally may be organized directly in the hall.

The main part of the hall is illuminated by means of 62 halogen lamps produced by THORN company. The lamps are divided to 9 groups.

Turn on time of groups 1, 2, 5-9 is equal to 1 – 2 minutes after receiving of the request by the dispatcher. Time of repeating turning on of the lamps comes to 15 minutes.
Turn on time of groups 3, 4 is equal to 2 seconds after receiving of the request by the dispatcher.

Characteristics of halogen lamps:

• power – 70 Wt
• luminous flux – 6600 Lm
• color temperature – 3000 Grad
• Time of turn off – 10 sec

Luminous lamps OTK/R 4x18 produced by Philips company, divided to 5 groups, illuminate the minor part of the hall.

Characteristics of luminous lamps:

• power – 72 Wt
• violence – 4600 Lm
• color temperature – 2700 Grad

Operating by the luminous lamps is executed by wall switches.
Turn on time of this section is no more then 1 second.
Besides in the part A of the hall there is standby lighting operated by the dispatcher.

1.10 Loudspeaker equipment

Loudspeaker equipment consists of audio system with following characteristics:

• inequality of the level of direct sound pressure is no more then 8 Db
• nominal level of direct sound pressure more then 90 Db
• coefficient of speech intelligibility has estimated rate “good” (more then 0.65)
• coefficient of lost of vowels has estimated rate “good” (less then 7%)
• Index of speech distinction overall the area of scoring more then 0 Db
• Value of reverberation time RT60 shall be in the range of 0,82+0,02 sec.

1.11 ideo projection equipment

Video projection equipment in the hall is presented by three stationary video projectors Sanyo PLC XP41. They may be used for demonstration of computer pictures (signal SVGA), video camera pictures, or DVD in format VHS composite.

Demonstration of computer pictures is executed through SVGA projectors inputs. Sources of SVGA signals are connected to projectors by cables with length 4 m each. Cables from projectors are available un the center of the hall.

Demonstration of pictures from sources of composite signals is executed through VHS projectors inputs.

Connection to this kind of sources is possible on two spots in the hall:

• in the center
• from the sound room

Switch between projectors inputs comes about distantly by means of a control panel.

1.12 Systems of communication and announcement

The business center building is connected to the Internet through fiber-optic systems of communication. The exhibition hall is connected to the Internet by twisted-pair cable. There are 21 hatches in the floor of the hall with sockets of local net RG45.It is possible to use the sockets for transmitting of video signal from cameras. Connecting to the Internet through technology Wi-Fi is also possible.

1.13 System of alarm and fire-fighting

The building is equipped with automatic system of fire alarm and fire-fighting, smoke removal and air support. Fire sensors reacting to exceeding of the maximum permissible content of smoke are mounted at the hall ceiling. System of sprinkler fire fighting contains easy destructible glass bulb covering fire water supply system and triggers at the temperature of 60 degrees Celsius.
